This was taken at the end of January 2017 at Queens view near Stockiemuir. It's a rare phenomenon called a Brocken Spectre. You have to be above an inverted cloud layer with a low winter sun behind you which when creating your shadow on the clouds creates the rainbow effect you see here. Even more spooky is that you can only see your own Brocken Spectre and no-one elses!
Taken a few minutes later after the Brocken Spectre, the incoming inverted cloud layer then proceeded to create this fogbow, which I was lucky enough to capture quite well.
